About WROCKETTE

Wrockette:
n. A woman that ROCKS IT!

IT = play, work, LIFE.

THE HARD WROCK LIFE:
No one is a finished product. Life is a perpetual project. Being beautiful in the struggle is not enough. It takes AMBITION, INSPIRATION, PASSION, LOVE, and LUST.

The fuel for your journey.
The fuel for winners.

What we do...
Provide a daily dose of "WROCKETTE FUEL" through the use of imagery and quotes.

Beautiful people inspire. They make us stop and stare, our hearts race, our imaginations soar, and our memories rekindle. -- Jose Luis (photographer)

We cannot discount the fact that photographers make much of this possible, so you'll find credits listed for each posting and links to available portfolios to some of them below.

Linda Le aka Vamp BeautyCalifornia (current residence) / Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (hometown)
In particular parts of the nation Asian women are a plenty, but out in Oklahoma? Probably not. She currently resides in California and isn’t your ordinary Asian chick. The part punk, part goth babe studied at SFIEC in association with Paul Mitchell, a cosmetology school. She is currently the partner and designer for Vamp Beauty. Her unique look and attachment to the otherside really keeps her apart from the majority of Asian women I’ve come across. I love a girl who wrocks it her own way.
The types of people she’d want to meet: “anyone who is my complete opposite, im more into learning what i dont know that is…….. i cant stand mediocrity in people, if u arent someone’s carbon copy if that is you i would like to meet you and people who arent afraid! no chickens! and no whiners! INSPIRE ME INSPIRE ME INSPIRE ME INSPIRE ME INSPIRE ME INSPIRE ME INSPIRE ME INSPIRE ME INSPIRE ME INSPIRE ME INSPIRE ME INSPIRE ME INSPIRE ME”

I asked, and she answered.

When was the last time somebody called you angel?
Most of the time I’m next a person who is one. =) I’m usually the one calling other people my angels.
When was the last time somebody called you a “badass?”
Recently at a convention, all I said to them was, “Who?” and did my usual grin and walked away. [LOL.]
You’re originally from Oklahoma, how is it different than California? Would you go back?
Yes I was from a small town called Okmulgee, which means boiling water in the Creek language. I would say only about ten thousand people lived in that city, so it was very mundane. I did wish to move though, even at an early age growing up there, but I can say it shaped my intense imagination. There was one mall I suppose, and it wasn’t even Macy’s, some Walmart or a knock off of it. The streets were bare, maybe a car would drive by our street once and a while, and everyone knew each other by name. All the kids fit in one tall building preschool through 6th grade. The only fun I remember was going to play in the snow, and watch WWF with my dad, and wait for zz top “legs” to play on MTV.California is a like another dimension! Its like traveling in space, new looking people, vast amounts of places to go, everything is like one million times more! =) I love it here. I would go back to Oklahoma to visit but not to live.
What did you want to be as a kid growing up?
I actually wanted to be in a band, not just any band but Shana from Jem and the Holograms, this is pretty odd but I wanted to be a cartoon. They looked amazing, and they were confident and always ready to rock. My mom said I was obsessed with them, I even combed out my permed hair in 2nd grade to have an afro.
According to your Myspace profile you state yourself as being partner and designer of something called Vamp Beauty. What is Vamp Beauty? Is it a clothing line? A cosmetics line?
It started out as a cosmetics venture with my cousin and I, after I left beauty school a year ago. Its still in the making, I travel a lot for work since I freelance so its on going, I really want to know what people want in a product, but I am also teaching as well in private groups. I LOVE MAKING PEOPLE LOOK DROP DEAD AMAZING. Stay tuned though I always have a few things lurking, my mind never sleeps.
How did this come to inception?
I always dreamed to own something. And I always loved Vampires since “Vampira” and the comic book “Vampirella”. Obvious reasons, they are KILLER HOT. I always was a fan of the dark as well. Anything mystical and off, is totally up my alley. [oh hell yea. I love Vapirella. As a kid I always had a thing for Elvira as well ;)]
Who influences your style in particular? Is there anybody you’ve particularly idolized?
My style depends on the day and time, how I feel and what cartoon/video game that goes on in my head. I’m always modifying it seems.
What is something naughty/bad that you’ve done, but didn’t feel bad about? (anything you’d like to share with us)
I ate a ferret. [now that’s just fucked up. =X]….just kidding… >;) mmm well i did replace my friends conditioner with bleu (blue) cheese salad dressing. Let’s just say they still don’t know it was me. [i was about to say, but that’s pretty funny. Comes out in rich THICK lather.]
	Are you currently single?
	???
Have you ever dated out of your ethnic/racial background? Does it matter? If not, would you?
	yes definitely
What qualities do you find attractive in men, even though you should NOT?
I really adore men who are blunt, sometimes rude, I don’t like men who are easily manipulated, which is a good thing. I also like men who aren’t afraid to get hurt once and a while, no sissys.
Every girl has a dream man, but in your past what have you been known to gravitate toward?
THE NERDS, THE BAD BOYS, THE ARTISTS [that just about sums up everyone…haha!]
	Leather or lace?
Why not both! A combination of both is rather enticing! [because they clash! But maybe not when you’re the one wrockin it. But, we’d have to see about that.]
	In command, or being commanded?
I’m usually making commands so I would have to say command. [i don’t take orders well]
	Top, bottom, or doggy?
	I don’t think I know what you mean…. >;) (=
	Shoutouts?
YOU ARE AWESOME DAVID!CONTINUE DOING WHAT YOU DO!!!! [don’t have to tell me twice. Keep wrockin’ that boat that you float!]
