• You’re a California native from Lancaster, California. For those of us who don’t know, where exactly is this located relative to the Bay Area or Los Angeles?
• Lancaster is about an hour north of Los Angeles


• Anything particularly special about that place that no outsider would know?
• There is a lot of folklore about how the Antelope Valley is really the gateway to Hell. Supposedly we are opposite of the holy land on the globe and other crazy stories. What I do know for sure is that the Mojave Desert attracts tweekers and therefore crazy stories, haha


• If I just happened to make a trip to Lancaster, what is something I absolutely must do, or eat?
• My favorite restaurant is Green House Cafe. We have one in the Palmdale Mall and in Lancaster.


• Your surname is “Berthe.” Educate me on what heritage it comes from?
• Burthe is a French name has a long history. We had a lot of property in the country side of France known as Burthe Court all of that was lost during the revolutionary war. Our name can be found in the famous arch de triumph in France. We where also a part of the Louisiana purchase and used to own a large portion of what is now the French Quarter in New Orleans. All that changed after the Civil War. Now all thats left is Burthe St in New Orleans. Theres a lot more to get into but I don’t want to bore.


• How did you take the plunge into the modeling world? Was it by your own accord? Or were you discovered?
• I first met modeling in 2004. Modeling found me and we fell in love. Have been together ever since.


• What type of a girl were you in high school?
• The girl who floated around from group to group- so the chameleon


• Are you pursuing any type of a college degree right now? If so, what?
• I am a student studying Hypnotherapy, after I’m done with that I’m starting beauty school (to help with modeling), then I’d like to get my Associates degree in Art. I love school in other words. I want to fit in yoga certification so I can teach as well.


• What is absolutely one thing you must achieve before you’re 25?
• Have my own house that I can pay for alone working as a full time model. I’d also like to go skydiving- naked if possible.


• Are you enhanced in any way?
• I have 15 piercings and 5 tattoos so yes. I’d like 5 more piercings and I have no clue whats going on with my tattoos. I will get more I just don’t know when.


• What do you hope to gain from modeling? Or is it about the exhibitionist in you?
• I’d like to me an Icon for the underground if thats not to much of an oxymoron


• Do you remember what you wanted to become when you were growing up as a kid?
• I wanted to scuba dive for sunken treasure


• Tell us one thing that you must do for modeling that most people don’t know.
• No painted nails (I try and get away with toes though), yoga and hour a day 4 times a week. It REALLY helps with modeling as far as being flexible, having good balance and being able to hold strange poses for extended periods of time. I also have to dye my hair almost every two weeks to keep the red in.


• You have several tattoos. The one I’m particularly drawn to is the one on your chest. What is it and how did it come about? What’s it represent? Are you planning to get anymore?
• It was something I drew when I was 14. I thought it would look great on my chest and the idea never left me so after I had wanted it there for 4 years I decided to go for it. It was always meant to be there.


• Have you not been able to work on projects because of your tattoos?
• Of course but thats just the thing with modeling I can’t get the job of a 5”10, 120lbs blonde with no tattoos, but she can’t have my job either and I think mines more fun ;-)


• Free time. What do you do with it? What’re some of your favorite hobbies?
• I enjoy doing yoga, going to concerts, painting and smoking weed.


• You’re handle on Myspace is “stonerbunniemaryjane”. I’m gonna take a wild guess that you’re pro-marijuana, haha. But, here’s a question for you. What’s the number one problem that you see in legalizing it?
• A lot of conservatives still view marijuana as a bad drug when its been proven time and time again that it is a wonderful medicine. I think getting people to really understand that may be the biggest road block. As far as it being legal I don’t see many problems, although the government loves to make things complicated!


• Name your favorite restaurant and what your favorite dish is.
• Green House Cafe, The vegetarian sandwich on croissant. I order it every time.


• Do you watch any sports? If so, what team or players do you root for?
• I love New Orleans so GO SAINTS! That super bowl game was a dream come true for me. Not to mention my Mom’s birthday.


• Who and what inspires you?
• I get inspiration through becoming the character. Modeling is like acting with your eyes. Once I get into character I’m that person. Even if they are made up. Music always helps inspire too.


• Who influences your style in particular? Is there anybody you’ve particularly idolized?
• I look up to Masuimi Max’s work a ton. I also love Bettie Page and Sheri Moon Zombie (The only blond aside from Marilyn Monroe I like)


• Genres of music you listen to and gimme a song you can’t stop wrockin’ to right now.
• I dig underground Hip hop, metal, punk, and classic rock. I can’t stop wrockin to Three sheets to the wind off of Sage Francis’s new Album Li(F)e. I didn’t like it at first but it grew on my and now I can’t stop listening to it.


• What’s your take on porn?
• Fun to watch if it’s done well. Vivid has nice stuff. I also enjoy Jack the Zippers work. It’s fun to tape with a significant other, however I could never actually be a porn star. Just at home.


• What or who absolutely removes your inhibitions? Explain if possible.
• Getting tattooed or pierced makes me feel adventurous. I love adrenaline rushes. Cliff jumping and such if that explains a little.


• How do you like your men dressed? (Suits and ties? Rugged? Street/urban?)
• I like punk, metal, stoner, alternative looking men.


• What qualities do you find attractive in men, even though you should NOT?
• Sharp tongued/ witty. That usually bites be in the ass later.


• Leather or lace?
• Both please! It would be a fun photo shoot I promise! I like to sleep in black lace.


• In command, or being commanded?
• In command, unless I commanded otherwise
