OBAMA GIRL aka Amber Lee Ettinger’s claim to fame was a parody video she created and posted on YouTube, titled “I Got a Crush… on Obama”. The current video has had a viewership tallying
over 12 million views. Before she became famous for this and one other video where she dukes it out with the McCain girl in a dance-off, she was a student at FIT (Fashion Institute of
Technology), in addition to being a model. Her accolades do include being crowned Miss Hawaiin Tropic 2003. She was called upon to play the Obama Girl in the video parody after she was Miss
Howard TV in June of 2007. She now markets herself as Queen of the Web, as a singing talent. Her first single off that Queen of the Web album, is “Second Time”. I’m quite sure, Amber certainly had something to do with Obama being deemed an Internet President.
