Sheena Lee answers our questions | Original post found HERE (lots of pix)
- I ASKED, AND SHE ANSWERED.
- You’re residing in Texas, are you originally from Dallas? If not, where are you from?
- I was born and raised here in Dallas and never moved. I actually live close to the town I grew up.
- Are you a football fan? Cowboys fan?
- UFC fan. Football not so much. If I had to pick a team to go for though of course it would be the Cowboys.
- Texas has no major body of water once you’re inland, what would give somebody a reason to pay a premium on real estate?
- The Dallas market usually keeps a steady and safe pace for pricing. Even though our housing market is down right now, my house is still worth more than what I paid by about $15,000 above the orignal price. We also have some of the best people and resturants!
- Your surname is Lee, does that mean your father is the one of Asian descent?
- No my mother is Chinese and Filipino so that is where Lee comes from. My dad is from German/Irish descent.
- You’re a blend of Chinese, Filipino, and German, but is there one you particularly identify with more? If so, why?
- Filipino because that is where my mom is from and she has 9 brothers and sisters, so I am around the culture and personality of the filipino side more and I look more Asian than white. My sisters on the other hand look more white than Asian.
- How did you originally take the plunge into modeling? Were you discovered? Or did you do it on your own accord?
- I did it through networking and the internet. Shooting with Johnny Crosslin and Playboy were some good advantages to get my name out there and then of course the printwork stuff I did. Shirley’s of Hollywood has kept my pics out there too.
- You were featured as a PB Cyber Girl in 2006, how’d that come about? Do the perks keep on rolling?
- was in Vegas and my friend passed out on me so I went out by myself and met Playboy scouts, Paul and Lorris, whom I am still friends with and they sent my pictures in to Playboy. I think I am most known for my work with Playboy, so I would say the perks still keep rolling in.
- Prior to modeling, what did you do to pay the bills?
- I waitressed and did Graphic Design. Now in addition to my modeling, I take pictures and book out models too. You can check out my work at SheenaLeePhotography.com and my girls at emodelgroup.com.
- It appears that you’re currently in school, studying Graphic Design. Are you the oldest student in your class? What prompted you to go to school for this?
- Actually I already graduated in 2002 with an Associates in GD and am now in school for Psychology. When I turned 25, I decided to make some life changes and decided although modeling is fun, Dallas is my home and looks do not last. I am a smart girl and wanted to use my brain in addition to have a career where I can help others. LOL No I am ot the oldest person in class. There are actually people who have grandchildren in my classes!
- You also do some photography as well, and your work shows patience. How did you get into it?
- I’ve always wanted to do it since high school and finally bought a camera in 2007 but didn’t really know how to use it till I took a class this year! lol The magic happens in editing because that is where my skill is. I like to say “I don’t take good pictures, I make them.” :-)
- You’ve got a lot on your plate including a modeling agency. I wanna know more about this. How did it come to inception? Did you just wake up one day and say, “I’ve got some hot friends, and I can help them out?”
- My partner used to hire me to host events, then we started promoting together and then his partner stepped down, so he asked me to help him start it over with fresh faces and build it up. E Models has been around since 2003 but I took over in 2008 and its been a lot of work, but we are finally at good point of having it together lol
- Free time. What do you do with it? What’re some of your favorite hobbies?
- I do Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and some times Boxing or Kickboxing and am actually starting my first class of Aerial fabrics today! It is like the Cirque de Soieli gymnastics. I like doing unique hobbies. I also like to watch movies in my free time. I don’t really get much so laid back stuff is more appealing to me but I do make it out occassionally about 3-4 a month.
- Do you watch any sports?
- I try to catch the UFC fights but haven’t been lately because I usually work on Saturday nights.
- Favorite dish at your favorite restaurant?
- This place in New Orleans I went to when I filmed “American Summer” was called Jacquamo’s (spelling may be wrong) and they had this dish called the “Crabzilla” that was phenominal!
- What are your sources of inspiration or who are you inspired by most (parental figures aside)?
- Bible figures, Rick Warren, T.D. Jakes, Joel Olsteen, Matthew Kelly and of course my Pastor Ed Young. You can learn a lot from them, even if you are not a religous person. I highly suggest buying books or audios they make.
- What is something you’re absolutely passionate about where a day doesn’t go by without you thinking about it?
- God, Family, friends and school.
- Gimme a song you can’t stop wrockin’ to right now.
- I like the new Jay-Z with Rhianna and Alicia Keys and also the new Kelly Clarkson lol
- What’s your take on porn?
- Don’t watch it and won’t ever be in it. I don’t know it just doesn’t do it for me, it’s kinda gross really.
- What brings that wild-side out of you?
- Alcohol, location and certain people.
- How do you like your men dressed? (Suits and ties? Rugged? Street/urban?)
- I like the metrosexual look.
- What qualities do you find attractive in men, even though you should NOT?
- I don’t like guys who are too nice. They have to have that even balance but not be an asshole.
- Every girl has a dream man, but in your past what have you been known to gravitate toward and/or have dated?
- All the guys I’ve dated are different, some are clean cut, some are covered in tattoos, some are hot, some are just cute, some are rich, some are poor, and most have been out of town and are usually older by 5-10yrs.
- Leather or lace?
- Both.Sometimes I like to be girly and sometimes I like to be rough :-)
- In command, or being commanded?
- In the bedroom commanded, outside in command.
