About WROCKETTE

Wrockette:
n. A woman that ROCKS IT!

IT = play, work, LIFE.

THE HARD WROCK LIFE:
No one is a finished product. Life is a perpetual project. Being beautiful in the struggle is not enough. It takes AMBITION, INSPIRATION, PASSION, LOVE, and LUST.

The fuel for your journey.
The fuel for winners.

What we do...
Provide a daily dose of "WROCKETTE FUEL" through the use of imagery and quotes.

Beautiful people inspire. They make us stop and stare, our hearts race, our imaginations soar, and our memories rekindle. -- Jose Luis (photographer)

We cannot discount the fact that photographers make much of this possible, so you'll find credits listed for each posting and links to available portfolios to some of them below.

Are the things listed above the same things you thought about when looking at Tracy? Probably not. Looks can be deceiving. Tracy recently added a tattoo to her torso surrounding her left breast. Some of you will like it, and some of you don’t. I don’t know what to think of it, but she’s wrockin’ my socks as a whole. She’s quite a find, and a rarity because she is from Baltimore. U.S. citizens are so bad at geography that most of us don’t even know where that is. Those of you who watched one of television’s best shows, “The Wire,” have an idea. Anyway, enough of my yappin’. Tracy’s gonna drop some knowledge on me in a few, and I’ll update this in a bit.

I asked, and she answered.

	* So, you’re a Baltimore native. I love watching the Ravens play defense. Are you a football fan?
	I’m sure all my peoples in Bmore will be dissapointed to here this but…no, I actually am not a big football fan! [well, it just takes the right boy to give you a crash course]

	* Baltimore is also the hometown of Carmelo Anthony and the hit HBO show The Wire, did you know that?
	Did not know Carmela Anthony was from Bmore…I have heard of The Wire but don’t watch it. [if you’ve got time to kill, you must check out The Wire. It is either the first or second best television series, I’ve ever come across]

	* Hah, I just like to think I know more than natives. Anyway, were you born and raised out there? What would be the best reason you could give me to come out to Baltimore?
	I was born in Baltimore…raised in a town very nearby. The best reason to come to Baltimore is steamed crabs!!! You can’t find them anywhere else, not like here!!

	* Your name is like two first names! Alias?
	Haha yes, Julia is actually my middle name. Sorry, can’t release my last name to the internet world! ;) [it’s in your email addy, btw. lol]

	* What is your ethnic background? I can’t figure you out. I’d love to guess a blend of Asian and….?
	Everybody always tries to guess and they’re ussually never right! I get everything from Middle Easter to Puerto Rican.. But I am Native American, Korean, German and Irish.

	* What did you grow up wanting to be as a kid?
	I wanted to be either a veterinarian, artist, or a writer. I’ve always been into anything art related and expressive, ever since I was a little girl.

	* I noticed that you’ve described yourself as “political” on your Myspace page. Are you into politics?
	I’m pretty into politics…I like to know whats going in the world and I have strong opinions on the government.

	* You’ve also listed “raves” as being one of your interests. Have you heard of EDC (Electric Daisy Carnival) in California? It just happened over this past weekend featuring some great artists in a stadium setting with carnival rides!
	I LOVE raves, thats one of my many passions! I go to raves as often as I can, including Florida every Spring. And YES I have heard of EDC, I actually know someone that went this past weekend and I’m totally jealous! I plan on going next year, I’ve wanted to go ever since last year when I first heard of it.

	* Who influences your style in particular? Is there anybody you’ve particularly idolized?
	I’ve always been inspired by Christina Aguilera, shes just amazing and not afraid to be herself…I relate to her style and opinions so well.

	* Gimme a song you can’t stop wrockin’ to right now.
	Nothing in particular…but any Drum & Bass songs gets me moving!

	* What brings out the wild side in you?
	My homegirls….we are crazy together! [nothin like a lil peer pressure, huh?]

	* Are you really single?
	Yes I am.

	* How do you like your men dressed? (Suits and ties? Rugged? Street/urban?)
	I’m not into pretty boys…I like men that are urban and unique.

	* What qualities do you find attractive in men, even though you should NOT?
	I like a ‘rude boy’ sometimes….someone adventurous with atittude, the kinda boy that doesn’t let nobody mess with him.

	* Every girl has a dream man, but in your past what have you been known to gravitate toward and/or have dated?
	I like bad boys and always seem to wind up with one, I need one that knows how to be in a serious relationship. But thats hard to find, which is probly why I’m single =b

	* Leather or lace?
	Lace

	* In command, or being commanded?
	I’m pretty independant and feel as if I can be hard to tame sometimes…so I like when a man shows some authority and takes control..I need someone that can keep up with me. So I guess being commanded ;)
